Experienced Receptionist / Customer Service Representative Wanted for well established, high quality, service oriented 3 doctor veterinary practice.
Current position available is approximately 35 hours per week with the opportunity to take on more hours. Shifts of 6-12 hours will fall between 7am 7pm Monday through Friday and 7am- 4pm on Saturdays. Working 2 Saturday per month is required
Hardworking but fun crew desire team mate with excellent communication skills, outgoing personality, attention to details, ability to work well with others and motivation to provide great customer service.
Skills needed are: Greeting clients in a friendly & caring manner, checking in patients, including weighing pets and cleaning exam rooms between patients, checking out clients and collecting payment, data entry of electronic medical records, and working with a computerized veterinary software system for almost all transactions, answering multi-line phones, making appointments, relaying accurate messages to and from doctors and clients, over the counter product sales, client education, cleaning of reception area / front office which includes cleaning up animal body fluids/solids when necessary, and animal handling as needed.
Must be available immediately. One year experience in a position providing superior customer service required. Experience in veterinary field preferred. Salary dependent on experience, knowledge and skills in customer service and veterinary field.
