Overnight Veterinary Technician- Duties include patient treatments and post-surgical care, light hospital cleaning, restocking and laundry. Knowledge of in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment (VetStat, VetTest, LaserCyte), various SNAP diagnostics, catheter placement (cephalic, jugular, saphenous), surgical monitoring (ECG, pulse oximetry, doppler blood pressure), knowledge of surgical instruments, care and pack wrapping, patient treatments (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous administration),knowledge of computers (training of Cornerstone available), basic restraint and good old common sense!!! Hours/Days available are Full-Time
Medical/Dental/paid sick and vacation days available. Salary depends on experience.
