VETERINARY TECHNICIANS must know how to read stool samples under microscope, use Idexx Vettest blood chem machine, do and read Idexx snap tests, surgical monitoring (pulse oximetry, gas anesthesia machine operation), take non-digital x rays, do basic dentistry, IV catheder placement, endotracheal tube placement, assist surgeries with full knowledge of sterile techniques, be meticulous with clean up after every day.
